The Final Hours to Order Club Jackets!!!

Club jackets will be ordered tomorrow (December 30th)!
If you have not confirmed your order and size with me please email or give me a call asap!! The estimated cost for the "un-embroidered" jackets will be $43 (including shipping). Any fund-raising money that you have raised can be used towards your coat and/or embroidery. The jacket will be as pictured with the MSFSC logo embroidered on the back after the jackets arrive. You will have the option of adding your name to the front if you choose. I will need all remaining payment in full before the jackets will be embroidered.

Pants are also available, let me know if you'd be interested in those too.

Pictures from the Colony Christmas Days Parade!!

A HUGE thank you to everyone involved in making our 1st Annual Colony Christmas Days Parade a HUGE success!!! The parade started at 5:00 and we made our way down Main Street pulling our lighted wheeled Zuca bags, following our *glowing* ice skate. The girls, moms, dads and coaches had a great time handing out candy canes and info to the waving crowd. Then we drove our skate to the middle of town and set up shop selling hot cocoa, coffee, cider and an assortment of donated goodies to the fireworks spectators. We have definitely started a new MSFSC tradition and fundraiser. Here are a few pictures of our fun!

Colony Christmas Days Parade!!

Todays the Day!

We've been working really hard on our Mat-Su Figure Skating Club "Skate" float and are ready to show it off in Palmer.

Your invited to join us in the Colony Christmas Days Parade. Even if your not an official member we would still encourage you to come and support the MSFSC by walking with us. The club will be meeting at 4:30 at the Palmer Police Station, where the parade begins.

Please dress warm (snow pants, coats, hats, gloves, hand warmers, etc.) as this is a fairly long parade. We will be hanging our skates over our shoulders. If you have a ZUCA bag please bring that along too. Those with Zuca's will be pulling them as they walk.

***ALSO***

We have made a final decision on our team jackets!! If you would like to place a jacket order please contact Natasha Bowers. The order will be placed next week so we will need money and sizes as soon as possible. This is a photo of the styling of the jacket. The matching pants are also available.

Mat-Su Figure Skating Club Meeting

The Mat-Su Figure Skating Club will be meeting this Thursday, December 9th at Natasha Bowers house. We will be putting the lights and finishing touches on our Christmas Parade float as well as making final decisions on our TEAM JACKETS!!

The meeting will begin at 7pm and finish at 9pm. Even if you can't make the whole meeting we would encourage you to attend what you can.

We still need some additional (LED) light strands to borrow for our float as well as small candy canes to handout to the parade spectators.

Coffee and Cookies will be provided!! (If you'd like to bring cookies to share your welcome to do that.)

From The Wasilla Sports Complex: Take Church Rd North 1 1/2 miles, turn right on Carlsbad Place. We are the first driveway on the right hand side. Our driveway splits and we are the house on the left. We have white Christmas lights outlining the front of our house.

Walk With The Mat-Su Figure Skating Club in the Colony Christmas Parade!!

Join us as we march in the 2010 Colony Christmas Parade this Saturday, December 11th. We will be meeting at 4:30pm at the Palmer Train Depot. Please *dress warm* and bring your skates!! We'll be hanging our skates over our shoulders. If you have a Zuca bag please bring that to pull behind our float. We will be handing out fliers about the skating club and candy. The announcer will also be advertising the upcoming Christmas Ice Show at the Brett Arena that many of our girls will be skating in.

We hope that you will join us in this fun and festive time together!! The Colony Christmas Parade has 5 craft fairs with over 200 vendors, sleigh rides, Santa and a fireworks show following the parade.
